Paint it turquoise!

Set of 70 thin & smooth DE wrappies for my friend :-)
Colors: black, turquoise, purple, dark blue.

And her first set below. I made it around one year ago and should admit that they weren't resistant at all!

How to make a harlequin dreads?

Personally I love harlequins - they're perfect to make an illusion of head sprouts dreads. If you make a half of harlequin dread in your hair color braid will be invisible on it. Enjoy :-)

Pepper & black criss-crossed & straight

I didn't know how to call the dreads you see below after I made my first ones in this style: [link] ( I was sure I invited this pattern and was sooo proud of it but then some girl wrote on the forum she saw something like this on web before and it calls wrapped dreads... it was shock! *sniff sniff* ... ). I shrugged it off when someday one of my customers asked me about "these strange criss-crossed dreads on this picture" - I thought it's a perfect name for them so for me they're criss-crossed till now - oh it's my little happiness... Wonderful story, isn't it? ;______;

Just a few SE dreads

Don't wanna cover your whole head with dreads? Get a few single ended dreads and braid them under your hair!
It looks really cute. Some examples & instruction below :)

Jeśli nie chcecie mieć całej głowy w dredach dobrym rozwiązaniem jest wplecenie kilku sztuk pojedycznych dredów [moim zdaniem są lepsze do tego typur fryzur, wygodniejsze i ładniej się układają niż podwójne] pod włosami, nad karkiem. Ważne: nie wplatajcie dredów na zasadzie pasemek, tylko w równych rzędach zaczynając od karku - wtedy można je łatwo oddzielić od włosów przy czesaniu. Jeśli natomiast będą losowo wplecione tu i tam każda ingerencja szczotki tudzież grzebienia w tę konstrukcję będzie doprowadzała was do szaleństwa. Na samym dole mała instrukcja pokazująca jak wpleść pojedyncze dredy samemu :)

How to do it?

1. Hook a strand on a hairpin and thread it through the loop.

2. Wind around the dreads [braiding style] and end with the little rubber band.

Jak to zrobić?

1. Zahacz pasmo o wsuwkę i przewlecz przez pętelkę dreda.

2. Opleć dreda włosami jakbyś robiła warkoczyka i zakończ małą gumeczką.

Purple & blue

The second set in my 'career' I made to order. Classic method, classic beauty :)
Colors: blueberry, blackberry, cobalt, turquoise, aqua and black [don't like black kanekalon hair we have in Poland so I buy only near black from www.buyhair.co.uk since then]. Anyway the other colors I also buy there ;) Sometimes when I need more shades of natural colors I go to www.ikickshins.net.

Wrapped dreads

At the beginnig I want to show you the wrapped style of making dreads. I've been admiring the Elliss Seven's work since ages and at least decided to make something similar. I love an irregular texture of wrappies. They're very resistant but also springy and soft to the touch. Just perfect :)

Zaczynam trochę od końca, bo 'pozawijane dredy' pojawiły się u mnie na tapecie stosunkowo niedawno. Przedtem kręciłam je wyłącznie klasycznym sposobem, co dawało efekt widoczny na zdjęciu tytułowym. Teraz wygląda to trochę inaczej... :>

Wrappy [ang. wrap - zawijać] 'z widzenia' znam już od dawna. Wykonywaniem takowych zajmuje się m.in. Elliss Seven pracująca pod szyldem LS-Seven. Pomieszanie z poplątaniem, nieregularność i przypadkowość przenikających przez siebie kolorów sprawiły, że zakochałam się w nich bezgranicznie. I ostatecznie - zaczęłam robić coś na ich wzór :) Nie wiem dokładnie jak robi je Elliss, moje wrappy w każdym razie są wykonane techniką nie pozwalającą im na odkształcanie się, puszenie w czasie noszenia i inne takie. Są elastyczne i jednocześnie bardzo wytrzymałe, a... czego chcieć więcej? ;)
