How to make a transitional dreads?

This time I made for you the much-desired tutorial. I saw a lot of you wrap up one part of hair strand with the other - it is not such a good method to make a resistant transitional dread. Check out how I make them:

Paint it turquoise!

Set of 70 thin & smooth DE wrappies for my friend :-)
Colors: black, turquoise, purple, dark blue.

And her first set below. I made it around one year ago and should admit that they weren't resistant at all!

Clip-in dreads

A few days ago my customer write to me she would like to add a few chunks of dreads in the body of her hair [not at the bottom but everywhere!]. It's a nice idea and it's possible to do but she will have to wear them for a shorter time coz they will tangle in the hair and it will be difficult to comb them out. Then she devised an ingenious plan - putting a single dreads on a hair extension clips. I checked it out already and have to say it works well :-) I did not backcomb them well for a more natural effect:

So you can put them off before washing your hair and put again in a second :-)

How to make a harlequin dreads?

Personally I love harlequins - they're perfect to make an illusion of head sprouts dreads. If you make a half of harlequin dread in your hair color braid will be invisible on it. Enjoy :-)

Silver set n° 1

1 of 2 silver sets I've ever made: 40 DE [criss-crossed & smooth wrappies]
So do you need a tutorial how to make these criss-crossed ones? Coz I think it's easy as hell.
Oh and my customer discover a new name for them: "ziggy-zaggy dreads" - I like it :)

Last time we replaced criss-crossed with these:

The old black ones get fluffy after many days of wearing (personally I LOVE this effect)

so that's why her head is "bigger" now :-))
